Erin Potter

Erin Potter is a registered traditional Chinese medicine practitioner (R.TCM.P.) and the owner of Jade Wellness.  She graduated from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver as a doctor of TCM. She then completed a post-graduate program in Chengdu, China where she studied acupuncture, internal medicine and the foundation of Chinese Medicine in the classical literature. In 2007, Erin began her practice in Revelstoke.

Erin strives to maintain health and harmony in her life and is passionate about leading others on the path towards optimal health and well being. Along with being a registered acupuncturist and herbalist, Erin has a keen interest in aromatherapy, is a certified Thai massage practitioner, and is a specialist in treating addiction with acupuncture.

Erin studied TCM at the International College of TCM in Vancouver and in 2005, after 5 years of study, graduated as a Doctor of TCM. She went on to study at the Chinese Medicine Hospital in Cheng Du, China for 3 months post graduation. Since this time, Erin has continued to further her studies in gynaecology, obstetrics, fertility, digestion, diet and nutrition, yoga and life.

Erin has spent most of her adult life in beautiful British Columbia enjoying the grace and challenges of the landscape. Her connection to Chinese Medicine (CM) stems from a time in her life when the intellect of the rational mind seemed disconnected from her experience of the creative, and energetic flow of life found in nature and it's elements. CM for her is a way to realign our inherent ability to regulate energy (chi) in a way that is safe, supportive and life renewing. A sweet love for movement of chi is also found in Erin's ashtanga yoga practice, where she integrates her awareness of the yin & yang forces with the enriching and life giving practice of yoga and asanas. Don't be surprised if you find Erin up a tree, or having a solo dance party before class, because while she is dedicated to the discipline of the teachings she's been offered, there is always a place in her life and heart for letting go and being silly.
